We have so many Activities groups to choose from! For dates and times of activities, email our Activities Chair, or stop by the activities books at the monthly luncheon. Some activities have set dates and possibly times, however, others are set by the individual groups throughout the term of the group.

If you’re interested in starting a new group, email our Activities chair for more information.

Bunco: Easy-to-learn, no-skill dice game with laughing and socializing. Meets first Monday, 1:00 PM.  Only accepting substitutes at this time.

Canasta: Rummy-like game with 7 card books. Meets 3rd Wednesday, 1:00 PM Happy to teach new members how to play. Only accepting substitutes at this time. 

Couples Game Night: New group seeking members! Schedule to be determined. 

Hand & Foot: Rummy-like game that's a variation of Canasta. Willing to teach and start a 2nd group. Meets 2nd Wednesdays, 1:00 PM

Men's Dominoes Group:  New group seeking members!  Will be meeting at noon on the first Tuesday of the month.

Mexican Train*: Dominoes game; Meets last Wednesday of month, 2:00 - 4:00 PM.


Bird Watching: Walks of 1 to 1.5 miles around the county (Morro Bay estuary, Montana de Oro and Atascadero Lake) Beginners welcome! Walk location, time and dates as arranged.

Convertible Car Club: Day trips along the beautiful roads of Central Coast for those who have convertibles. Outings are always the third Thursday of each month starting in March and ending in November.

Hiking/Walking Group: Enjoy moderate to strenuous hikes or walks around the county. Hiking experience and proper equipment are recommended. Meets: Tuesdays and Thursdays either in Paso Robles for 8:30 AM carpool or at trail head.

Creative Outlets

Book Group - Mixed Bag: New group seeking members! Meets on the last Tuesday of each month, 4:00 PM.

Book Group* - Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem: Meets on the third Friday for lunch and book club.

Book Group* - Reading Between the Vines: Meets second Monday of the month at 1:30 PM at rotating locations. We read mostly fiction but are open to suggestions.

Book Group* - Retired Readers: Embrace your love of books!

Book Group - Science Fiction/Fantasy: Monthly meeting on third Wednesday of each month at 2:00 PM. Besides book discussion, we sometimes have the authors as guest speakers. We also have appetizers and beverages at each meeting and sometimes watch Science Fiction/Fantasy movies in addition to book discussion.

Interior Decorating Tours: Outings designed to share love of interior design, garden design and decorating sources. Group size may be limited based on the home or business being visited. Meets second Tuesday followed by lunch.

Tangled Treasures: Bring your yarn, thread, fabric or string to knit, crochet, bead, embroidery or sew. Meets in homes to socialize while working on your own project. Meets 1st Monday, 1:00 PM at various hostess homes. 


At Home Happy Hour (AHHH): Monthly gatherings of 10-12 people in rotating homes. Bring an appetizer to share and your favorite beverage. Groups reorganized in December and June by AHHH Coordinator.

Dinner on the Town: Gatherings of 8 who meet to sample great local restaurants. Groups reorganized in June and December. Groups set own dates/times.

Dog Adventures: Bring your four legged buddy for socialization activities and walks around the county. Various locations/times/dates. Join in when you can.

Girls’ Night Out: Matinee movie and dinner with rotating responsibility for choosing the restaurant and movies. Meets 4th Thursday of the month.

Music and Dancing: Social dancers and toe-tappers meet at various events to dance, enjoy the music and socialize. Check the activities binder at the general meetings to view various dates, times and dance locations.

Out to Lunch Bunch: Lunch once a month. Dates and time vary. Size of group varies depending on the venue.

Performing Arts Venues: Enjoy going out to dinner and an activity such as music, dance, plays, etc. This group will meet monthly with the outing determined by various members. 

Potluck for Individuals: Tired of cooking for one? Bring your favorite recipe to share and enjoy the companionship of other individual cooks. Rotating homes/dates.

Singles on the Go: When it's more fun to do it with a group instead of alone. Monthly calendar of places to go and things to do.  Monthly lunch and AHHH for singles only. Must be single to join.

Travel Club: For reservations and information, contact Eileen Brown. Join mailing list to get details about where our next tours will go.

Wine Tasting: Enjoy wines and appetizers at wonderful local wineries. Meets third Monday, 3-5 PM. RSVP and a fee required. Group size varies and may be limited by winery.
