Program: Our speaker will be: Christy Christie from the SLO County Worm Farm.
Most gardeners are aware of the magic of taking organic matter, such as leaves and vegetable scraps, and converting it into nutrient-rich humus. Christie will discuss an alternative method, using worms rather than heat, to compost. Learn why Aristotle called worms, "the intestines of the soil."
